That's a very good advice Martina! I prefer to draw small anyway, so outside I always grab a smaller sketchbook (usually A6) bc as you've said less pressure on my back and it's easy to carry everywhere too 😊
Fantastic advice- hurrah for tiny sketch books - I’m currently tackling my nemesis - thumbnails, and drawing them tiny has improved my composition no end!
Genius! I'm going to try this immediately, what a brilliant idea!
Fabulous to see and hear this Martina, and love the little sketches! X
Thanks Ella! And thank you so much for reading!

Oh yeah, how light tiny sketchbooks are is a big bonus! I wish I had discovered them sooner
Really good advice. I also found my teeny-tiny sketchbooks really lowered the pressure (and were much less likely to attract side-eyes and stares)
Hahaha yeah they're definitely ideal for stealth sketching! And I bet much more practical for traveling than big ones

Oh yes, tiny thumbnails is a great idea as well! I've started collaging my thumbnails to keep my plans looser and it's helped!
Ah, love this. Tiny sketches for the win!
Yes! Can't see myself getting a bigger one again any time soon
